Acne Studios Blå Konst Is Here to Reimagine Your Favorite Denim Styles
Meet Acne Studios’ newly-relaunched denim line.
This spring, Acne Studios is rebooting its denim range as a separate line called Acne Studios Blå Konst. Launching officially on April 6, Jonny Johansson’s new line will include a permanent offering that centers around six different style of jeans, including baggy, straight and skinny options for both women and men. Additionally, the range also features reimagined denim jackets, shorts as well as skirts.
In particular, the brand’s first seasonal collection takes inspiration from the Swedish outdoors and the functionality of the artist’s uniform. As Johansson explains in a press release,
I love to bring a basic and universal staple wear from underdog position to an artistic level. I see the wearer as an artist, as she patiently crafts her own garment into something distinct. I also spend so much time in the Swedish countryside, and love the clarity of what you wear then.
