British 'Vogue' Taps Model-Turned-Fashion Luminary Edward Enninful as Editor-In-Chief
The first male to head ‘Vogue’ UK.
British Vogue has announced that Ghanaian-born stylist Edward Enninful will succeed Alexandra Shulman as its editor-in-chief. Enninful’s illustrious career began as a young model in London and he eventually rose to become the youngest fashion director of i-D magazine. Known for his compelling perspective, Enninful has previously been chosen to consult at Celine, COMME Des GARÇONS, Fendi and Gucci. He’s also spent the last six years as the style director at W Magazine spearheading unprecedented ad revenues for the publication.
As a beloved personality in the fashion community embraced by collaborators such as Pat McGrath and Naomi Campbell, Enninful’s new appointment has no doubt been well received. As he enters this new role in August, all eyes will be on the young visionary.
