Here's Everything That Went Down at the Dior 2017 Spring/Summer Couture Show in Tokyo
Held on the rooftop of the new Ginza store.
In celebration of its new store in Tokyo, Dior held the 2017 Spring/Summer Couture show at the Ginza location. Artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri presented eight couture looks inspired by Japan’s cherry blossoms and Dior’s 1953 archive.
The collection is reminiscent of an overgrown flower patch, with leaves, moss and flower buds appearing throughout. Garments are ethereal and it matched perfectly with the setting of the man-made sky garden. The fresh-faced models also wore exaggerated nature-inspired headpieces to complement their airy gowns.
It was a true fairy tale weaved by Chiuri. Scroll through our photo recap in the gallery above.
