'Game of Thrones' Actors to Make $2.5 Million USD Per Episode in Season 7

The cast is destined to be the highest-paid actors in television history.

The Game of Thrones cast is about to cash in on a record-breaking amount in the show’s last two seasons. The leading actors – Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau – are expected to make a whopping $2.5 million USD per episode in the seventh and eighth seasons, according to The Express. That’s nearly $18 million USD in season 7.

The agreement would make the cast the highest-paid actors in television history. The Big Bang Theory is the current record-holder with a reported $1 million USD per episode.

Season 7 premieres on July 16 on HBO. Still three months away so it’s time to watch the trailer on repeat.
