NYC-based label Private Policy has unveiled its 2017 fall/winter collection, filled with an assortment of stunning cut-and-sew pieces. Exploring an array of social political topics, the brand’s latest drop is entitled “Polycephaly,” which is the condition of having multiple heads. Quite aptly, the program serves as a discussion of modern globalization, a concept conveyed through textural collages constructed with various national flags. Private Policy also plays with contrasting details in its experimentation with denim, velvet, quilted fabrics and heavy canvases.
