SZA's Streetwear-Heavy Closet Is the Stuff of Vintage Envy
From Supreme and BAPE to Marc Jacobs and Versace, we like what we see.
We’ve been patiently awaiting something new from SZA, and although she hasn’t dropped another track from her debut album she’s at least appeasing our fashion senses. The Top Dawg Entertainment artist opened her closet doors to The Coveteur, who captured her wardrobe in all of its vintage glory in her Los Angeles home. Her style is so ’90s with throwback brands and oversized fits, but she reveals that was more than a default rather than an option for her:
“When I lost weight I didn’t want to wear baggy clothes anymore. I worked really hard not to have to wear baggy clothes. And now I just feel like it’s how I’m generally comfortable. Instead of doing just what was available, I can wear what I want, and that’s a blessing.”
Supreme, Champion and BAPE cozy up alongside vintage Gianni Versace and Mossimo bodysuits, while her go-to footwear spans Vans, Dr. Martens and Marc Jacob platforms in between. Take style cues from SZA herself above, then listen to “Drew Barrymore” from her upcoming project, CTRL.
