Balmain Is Launching Its First-Ever Lipstick Collection with L'Oréal

Coming soon to a drugstore near you.

Best known for his edgy and luxuriously glamorous designs, Balmain‘s creative director Olivier Rousteing is making his first foray into makeup by launching a très chic lipstick collection with L’Oréal. Comprised of 12 new shades, the collaborative range will be broken down into three gorgeous color themes. Additionally, there will be a “jewel edition” featuring three star shades that will be available exclusively in Balmain stores and select retailers.

As a designer who strives to add diversity to the fashion industry, Rousteing explains that the upcoming makeup range is created for all women:

L’Oréal Paris and Balmain share the same strong vision of femininity and the same goal, to empower women and offer them diverse ways to express themselves,. With this collaboration, I’m thrilled to make this idea tangible for every woman around the world.

Just in time for the next Paris Fashion Week, the lipstick line is set to launch officially in early September. Stay with us for any further updates. In the meantime, sneak a peek at the collection below.
