Alongside Steve Carell who is up to no good.

Emma Stone plays American tennis legend Billie Jean King in the newly released Battle of the Sexes trailer. The film follows one of the most watched sports events in televised history – a gimmicky match between King and serial scammer Bobby Riggs (Steve Carell). The 1973 match is said to have sparked the conversation on gender equality and ignited the modern feminist movement as we know it. In the short trailer clip, we watch both competitors battle issues of sexuality and reputation amid a growing media circus.

Battle of the Sexes will hit theaters on September 22. Watch the two-minute trailer above.
