Prada Introduces Art Deco Athleisure at Its 2018 Resort Show
After a five-year hiatus, Prada returns to resort fashion.
Prada returns with its first resort show since 2012 in Milan’s storied Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. For 2018 resort, Prada enters the athleisure arena with its own decorative sportswear. The collection’s theme is opulent and each piece features an ornament of some sort whether it be gold trim, feathers or over-sized accessories.
The Italian luxury house offers its own interpretation of tracksuits by creating a streamlined top-and-pant combo with exaggerated sleeves. To cater to loyalists, frilly blouses and sheer skirts also appeared for a whimsical look. Models sported calf-length socks paired with heels to further invoke the spirit of street style. Take a look at our favorite selects from the collection above.
