Warby Parker Drops Groovy Sunnies for a Good Cause
In honor of American artist Robert Rauschenberg.
Eyewear retailer Warby Parker has teamed up with the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation for a limited-edition eyewear collection. Rauschenberg is considered “one of the most influential American artist of the 20th century,” renown not only for his work but his activism as well. The capsule holds four pairs of dual-colored sunglasses with a special red/blue ROCI frame exclusively available at MoMA Design stores and online. The other two-toned sunnies can be found for $95 USD at Warby Parker locations and online all arriving on May 18.
Inspired by Rauschenerg’s vivacious color palette, the line features all of this season’s trendy hues, including a primrose pink and a cerulean blue. In addition to a donation to support Rauschenberg’s initiative for artist’s grants, WP will supply a pair to someone in need with every frame purchase.
