So, Detachable Jeans-to-Jorts Are Apparently a Thing Now
We’re just as perplexed as you are.
Tearaway pants are all the rage right now, but Y/Project’s version aren’t exactly what we had envisioned. The Paris-based brand presents the Detachable Cut-Out Front Jeans — better known as instant jeans-to-jorts.
The $425 USD bottoms are essentially a two-for. They start as straight-leg denim pants and become high-rise, cheeky shorts in a snap. Four snaps, actually: two in the inner crotch and two along the sides of the outer-leg. We’ve never seen versatility like this before. If you’re the fearless fashion type, you can find them at Opening Ceremony.
