3.1 Phillip Lim has set a new pace for resort clothing this season. Its 2018 resort collection gleans inspiration from the workwear of African farmers to create its own luxury-adapted garments. The use of print and color is abundant with the careful addition of black, deep red and tan for balance. The pieces combine the whimsical with the odd for sublime juxtaposition.

Each look from the line strongly asserts personality and strength — traits that are often missing in feminine clothing. To pair with the wares, we see statement accessories including a convertible clutch and sandals crafted with rope.
