Creepy Crawl's 2017 Summer Collection Centers Around "World Degradation"
Home truths from the Russian streetwear brand.
Russian streetwear is on the rise – you only have to look to the likes of Gosha Rubchinskiy and emerging labels like Crime x Punishment to notice that – so it comes as no surprise that yet another young brand is ascending out of Moscow’s creative hotbed, and it goes by the name Creepy Crawl.
Only two years on from its inception, Creepy Crawl has produced more than three collections and its latest favors a monotone color palette. The 2017 summer drop consists of printed tees as well as trousers and an oversized jacket. Graphic details include line illustrations of spiders, a grim reaper and imagery inspired by Moscow, alongside Russian text. The must-have piece is a basic T-shirt – available in black or white – which is simply printed with the phrase “World Degradation.” A scary but accurate representation of what we all may be thinking.
