Read her love story with Alexis Ohanian – beginning at day one.

Serena Williams announced her engagement to Alexis Ohanian in December and her pregnancy months later. Now she and her baby bump cover Vanity Fair’s 2017 August cover.

The intimate shoot, by Annie Leibovitz, is told alongside her love story with Ohanian. She takes the magazine back to the time they met and admits the pregnancy took her by surprise:

“How am I going to play the Australian Open? I had planned on winning Wimbledon this year. I don’t know what to do with a baby.”

She even bought six pregnancy test to be absolutely certain. Serena plans to marry Ohanian post-birth and return to the court in 2018 January – “I don’t think my story is over yet.”
