American Apparel Closed All Stores – But It's Still an American Favorite
Proved by new research.
American Apparel’s had a rollercoaster year. The brand had to declare bankruptcy twice in the past two years, and in April, closed all 110 stateside retail locations, along with its distribution center and production quarters.
Even so, a new study by by thredUP – an online reseller described to be “the largest online consignment and thrift store” – declared the company only increased in popularity since February. It was also revealed the brand is particularly popular along the coasts and states that voted Democrat in the most recent election.
It’s okay, we miss it too.
