As the face of PUMA‘s “Do You” campaign, Cara Delevingne‘s responsibilities extended further than just designing a range of apparel and sneakers. The model-turned-actress has also taken part in another documentary series in partnership with PUMA, which revolves around her journey meeting incredible women worldwide who are making inspiring changes in both their personal lives and the lives of others.
In the series, Cara takes a trip to Uganda with the United Nations refugee agency, UNHCR, where she sees first-hand the issues faced by women and children who are striving for a better, safer life. She also visits some determined young women in the U.S. and Canada, such as Dr. Rhyana Dawood who runs Martial Smarts, three girls from the “Get Lit” poetry program and Natalie Hampton, the high school student who created the “Sit With Us” app in an attempt to prevent bullying in schools.
Cara was joined by some of these ladies on stage in London after the premiere screening of the #DOYOU series, where they discussed the making of the documentary and the need to keep making changes to improve the lives of women across the world. Watch all four episodes of the documentary above and below and share your own tales of empowerment on social media using the hashtag, #DoYouStories.
