Emily Ratajkowski Teams up with The Kooples for an Exclusive Handbag
You won’t even need a wallet.
Teaming up with French label The Kooples, Emily Ratajowski has designed her very own exclusive handbag. Quite aptly dubbed the Emily by The Kooples bag, the item is a boxy leather-constructed beauty with an adjustable strap and gold accents. Showcasing a stunning union of form and function, the new release comes with plenty of utilitarian features such as an accordion-style storage section and plenty of pockets perfect for stowing secrets and candy (duh).
“I was looking at all my purses and being realistic about what I really love and what I really wear,” Ratajkowski told Vogue. “It came down to combining my favorite-looking purse with my most useful purse.” On what prompted her to design a handbag with multiple partitions, she explains, “The funny thing is, I don’t have a wallet, which is really stupid, which is why I love the compartments in one area – your lipstick in another, your cash in another, your birth control in another.”
The bag comes in three colorways: black, taupe and red. The medium-size version is seen in the image above ($445 USD), while the bag also comes in both a small ($375 USD) and large ($495 USD) model – which has specifically been designed to fit a laptop. You can shop the Emily by The Kooples Bag starting September 1 at thekooples.com.
