Take a Closer Look at the Nike Air Max 97 Ultra "Metallic Rose Gold"

A must-have for your millennial pink sneaker rotation.

Among the extensive range of new Nike Air Max 97 colorways that was revealed earlier this month, the “Rose Metallic Gold” iteration has perhaps been the most head-turning. Ahead of its North American August 5 release (and global release on August 17), we get an exclusive closer look at the blushing favorite. For those who are familiar with the updated sneaker, the Air Max 97 Ultra version highlights a much more streamlined design when compared to its OG counterpart.

In addition to being more lightweight, the Ultra model is constructed with sleek, flat side paneling instead of details standing in relief, which is typical for the original design. However, key features such as the wavy profile design, Air Max sole unit, and retro aesthetic remain intact, making the shoe as timeless as ever. This particular pink colorway of course showcases a rosy palette throughout, and also features a classic gum outsole.

You can shop the Nike Air Max 97 Ultra “Metallic Rose Gold” at nike.com and select retailers when it drops next month. To see more of the forthcoming sneaker, watch our unboxing video below.
