Virgil Abloh Is Now Designing Off-White™ "Office Supplies"
The paper clip has never been this chic.
Virgil Abloh’s long-expressed his desire to design beyond clothing, wanting to apply his architectural background in other areas like furniture and other home goods. His IKEA collaboration is a step in that direction, but in a glimpse at other projects in progress, he’s going to work this time around.
Abloh teased an Off-White™ paper clip designed in collaboration with Jacob the Jeweler, but of course it’s nothing like the average metal one you may find at your desk. His is an all-gold piece inscribed with “Office Supplies” and appears to be embellished with stones. His fascination with office-related knick knacks is clear — the Off-White™ Binder Clip bag continues to get reworked for new seasons.
