Pharrell and adidas Break the Silence With "Don't Be Quiet Please" Campaign
Teasing details of a city-wide event today in NYC.
While kicking off a tennis tournament over the weekend at the Frederick Johnson Community Court in Harlem, adidas and Pharrell Williams also took the time to share the launch of the collaboration’s “Don’t Be Quiet Please” campaign. For the new movement, the sportswear imprint and celebrated artist share a common message: ” [to invite] the local community to let their voices be heard by delivering personal messages to inspire change through love,” as stated in a press release. Similar to the events taking place in the atmospheric campaign video, tennis umpire chairs will be placed all across New York City today as an open invitation for all to share and express themselves.
Coinciding with the new campaign, adidas and Pharrell have also announced a partnership with non-profit organization HORIZONS, aiding in setting up a tennis scholarship for youths. Further adding to the duo’s philanthropic efforts, the two will also be making a donation to the NYC Parks Department for tennis court restoration. You can view the full “Don’t Be Quiet Please” campaign video above, and can view the official “chair locations” below.
