The iPhone 8's Home Button Is Changing Completely

Apple is changing the way you use the next iPhone.

For years the home button was the one thing you could constantly expect on any new iPhone. That’s all about to change with the upcoming iPhone 8, and when the new phone is revealed on September 12, devoted users will notice it’s missing.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman:

“Across the bottom of the screen there’s a thin, software bar in lieu of the home button. A user can drag it up to the middle of the screen to open the phone. Inside an app, a similar gesture starts multitasking. From here, users can continue to flick upwards to close the app and go back to home. An animation in testing sucks the app back into its icon.”

What are your thoughts about the latest update? Take a closer look at the iPhone 8 breakdown below and read about more rumors and leaks to expect.
