It’s no secret that Kylie Cosmetics turned the beauty industry upside down when it debuted around 18 months ago. However, the extent to which it expanded wasn’t revealed to the public until a new interview with WWD.
Kris Jenner reported $420 million USD in sales in just 18 months, with supporting documentation to prove that. To put that achievement into the grand perspective, it was noted by WWD that Tom Ford Beauty took a decade to reach $500 million USD in revenue, while Bobbi Brown took 25 years to reach one billion USD. Kylie still heads the creative side, and maintains that she “wants to keep building it and just show people what I can do on my own.”
For now, the mogul will concentrate on rolling out concealers and maybe even launch brick-and-mortar stores. The possibilities are endless.
