Nokia is back in the phone game with the new 8. HMD Global – the Finnish company that licensed the rights to produce Nokia technology – revealed the new Android phone today, and it’s seriously on par with the Samsung Galaxy S8. Key specs include a 5.3-inch screen, and it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB RAMs and 64GB storage to support.
Nokia is also debuting “Dual Sight” which allows users to simultaneously capture photos and videos using the cameras on both sides. It be available in Polished Blue, Tempered Blue, Steel and Copper – the latter happens to coincide with the iPhone 8’s “Blush Gold.”
The 8 is looking at a September release date and $702 USD price point. That makes it cheaper than Apple’s upcoming phone, which is rumored to cost up to $1000 USD.
