Pink Gin Is the Next Best Thing to Rosé This Summer
It’s actually a rosé-based gin.
Summer is rosé time – everyone knows that, and there’s rosé deodorant, ice cream and more to prove it. Now one winemaker is using our beloved pink wine to make pink gin.
The Wölffer Estate started bottling the summer-ready drink last summer – rosé is distilled to make pure alcohol and winemaker Roman Roth then throws in hand-picked juniper berries and six other herbs and seed including anise, coriander, cumin, and cardamom.
The pink gin is available online and at select East Coast locations, priced at approximately $34 USD. For another alternative, look to Gordon’s Pink Gin.
