Today is a momentous day. The country will experience a solar eclipse – one that last appeared in 1918. The next won’t until 2024, and that will only be partial.

People everywhere are tuning in to watch, and NASA started to livestream the celestial phenomenon at noon EST on its Facebook, Periscope, Twitch and UStream alongside YouTube and NASA TV site. CNN will also livestream the eclipse in 360-4K quality. Watch above and in case you’re outside be sure to protect your vision with NASA-approved glasses.
