London-based brand YMC‘s (You Must Create) drop for 2017 fall/winter is an amalgamation of many things. It draws major inspiration from the Bauhaus movement and post punk/synth music as well as elements of the Dadaists’ surreal “cut and paste” style of art and translates all of this into a wearable, yet cutting-edge collection.
With a focus on high-quality fabrics, key pieces from its womenswear offering include a fishtail parka in Japanese nylon, boiled wool trousers in red tartan and a tan cocoon coat with a peter pan collar. Alongside this, YMC is teaming up with Eastpak to produce a selection of quilt zip bags and maze-print backpacks. Browse some of our favorite images from the lookbook above and cop some pieces now at the YMC web store – the remainder of the collection will drop over the coming weeks.
