First thing you need to know is that the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus do not have an all-glass display. They are merely larger in size compared to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus 4.7 and 5.5” respectively.

Both are made with aluminum alloy, the most durable glass retina yet and upgraded with a 24-megapixel back camera, and new A11 processor and GPU. They retail at $699 and $799 USD respectively, and are available in “Silver,” “Space Grey” and “Gold.” The 256GB models are $849 and $949 USD.

Pre-orders can be placed on September 15, with a September 22 launch date.

The all-glass iPhone that was long rumored was the actually the iPhone X.

The phone is available in “Silver” and “Space Grey” with a 5.8” diagonal display. There is no home button and users simply have to wipe up to go to the home page.

Apple also revealed that it will recognize you with one look, called the Face ID. It’s made possible by a new True Depth Camera and works day or night, and no matter what you wear or how you change your hair. Apple says there’s a 1-in-1,000,000 chance someone can trick Face ID so stay assured.

It will support wireless charging with Apple’s own proprietary AirPower charger, have better battery than the 7 and new emojis dubbed Animoji.

Pre-orders can be placed on October 27, with a November 3 launch date and prices starting at $999 USD.
