Fendi‘s Spring/Summer 2018 show featured geometric patterns, carefully tailored silhouettes and a whole lot of stripes.
Artistic Director Karl Lagerfeld made use of the fashion house’s famous technical expertise, and incorporated classic materials the fashion house is known for such as leather and fur. The whole collection was centred around stripes, which came in many different shapes and colors.
From accentuated shoulders to triangular cut-outs, the show really focused on creating interesting silhouettes for the modern woman. With layered organza dresses and long skirts, the house also brought a hint of femininity to the collection. Despite this, the standout piece of the collection was the fur bomber with the Fendi logo, worn by Kendall Jenner on the runway.
