It-Girl Kozue Akimoto Leads Genesis Breyer P-Orridge x Richardson's 2017 Capsule Campaign
Featuring vintage pieces from the ’70s artist.
Richardson has adapted the work of Genesis Breyer P-Orridge for a nostalgic capsule collection. The line of tees, hoodies and sweatshirts feature screen-printed copies of her early work. The images deal with the subjects of pornography, sex work and occultism with an avant-garde twist. Her art is said to have influenced many early punk artists in the late ’70s and inspired the cover art for a number of projects.
Japanese it-girl Kozue Akimoto models the “Mum and Dad” hoodie in Richardson’s studio rocking a blunt bang and beaded choker to match its theme. Among the cozy apparel there is also a cult art-inspired bomber that fans of P-Orridge would love.
This line is set to arrive on Richardson’s site soon. Peep the entire range above.
