Gucci Heads to Rome for "Roman Rhapsody" Cruise 2018 Campaign
An unfiltered series of portraits of real people in real places.
For its Cruise 2018 collection, Gucci travels to Rome, the home of the brand’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele. The campaign, shot by British photographer Mick Rock is a series of portraits and pictures of “real people in real places” called “Roman Rhapsody.”
The images feature candid models dressed up in head-to-toe Gucci, from classic patterns and brand logos, to colors and silk, and the photographs capture the trend-setting designs in a raw and intimate way. Models of all different ages are featured in the campaign, as well as still-life objects ranging from newspapers to glass-encased bugs.
The colorful campaign is a look into the collection, as well as a glimpse of Michele’s vision and creativity, in combination with Mick Rock’s skill and profession. Peep the campaign in the gallery above.
