After making his debut at New York Fashion Week as the new in-house designer for Helmut Lang (the fashion house’s first since Lang himself left the label in 2005), Shayne Oliver now introduces even more radical changes. Aligned with the brand’s new direction aimed at reaching a new (younger) audience, Helmut Lang has revealed a new merch-inspired capsule collection. Emblazoned across the pieces is the label’s new branding: white letters housed in a bold, red box. Reminiscent of Hood By Air‘s own aesthetic – which often showcased a red, white and black palette – the new pieces pay homage to rave subculture.
You can view the full capsule in the gallery above, which comprises of hoodies and T-shirts. Although details are still sparse regarding an exact release date, the merch range is expected to drop later this year.
