Jonathan Simkhai x Reebok Debut Eight Unique Styles of the Freestyle Hi at NYFW
A classic silhouette gets a high-fashion update.
Designer Jonathan Simkhai has teamed up with Reebok for a new line of Freestyle Hi styles. At the presentation for his eponymous label, Simkhai paired his Spring/Summer 2018 collection with eight new colorways of the classic silhouette.
Using his signature fabrics like ecru crochet, blue seersucker, indigo denim, ecru denim, white leather, black leather, powder pink leather and midnight blue leather the duo constructed custom never-before-seen forms. The modern woman would appreciate the attention of detail paid to each upper that is tailored to perfection like Simkhai’s garments. He opens up about the inspiration behind the collaboration:
“I have always admired Reebok’s commitment to crafting quality styles that cater to the many demands in a woman’s life, which parallels my own design philosophy. It was an incredible experience to work with the Reebok team to create unique variations of the Freestyle Hi. I’m excited to see it all come to life on the runway,”
The range releases on March 6 on exclusively on Farfetch and Jonathan Simkhai, priced at $225 for the leather and denim iterations, and $245 USD for the crochet.
