SZA Is the Leading Lady in Maroon 5's "What Lovers Do" Visual
It’s a film fantasy.
Maroon 5 has released a trippy visual to accompany its SZA-assisted single, “What Lovers Do.” The video is a cinematographer’s dream, pulling inspiration from some of the best films in the 21st century, including Jurassic Park and King Kong. Lead singer Adam Levine attempts to keep up with SZA as they shift through scenes, but he can’t seem to catch the elusive siren. Through sprawling fields and an underwater sea chase, SZA manages to keep her distance with the upbeat tune as her getaway soundtrack.
