MM6 Maison Margiela's Spring/Summer 2018 Collection Is a Street Take-Over
An invitation to the Margiela world.
The theme for MM6 Maison Margiela‘s Spring/Summer 2018 collection was a street take-over. The idea was to create a Margiela world that’s open to everyone, almost like a community.
Materials like plastic, cotton and denim are present in the collection, complementing the classic androgynous Margiela silhouette. The clothes are simple yet eye-catching, featuring a primarily light palette classic to the brand, as well as introducing some indigo and black. A stand-out piece in the collection includes the clear plastic boots, in two different styles. Low-cut boots as well as thigh-high, the shoes show a classic silhouette in a new light.
