Serena Williams Shares 'Vogue's February 2018 Cover With Her Daughter

Watch the new mom break it down to N.E.R.D.’s “Lemon” too.

Mette Towley may have some serious competition. For her February 2018 Vogue feature, tennis star Serena Williams broke it down to the buzzy “Lemon” track  — in a private jet of course. On the cover, Williams posed with her newborn daughter Alexis Olympia.

In the issue’s main story she speaks about her new role as a mother and her career aspirations. She shares that while she loves motherhood she also has personal goals to attack:

“To be honest, there’s something really attractive about the idea of moving to San Francisco and just being a mom. But not yet. Maybe this goes without saying, but it needs to be said in a powerful way: I absolutely want more Grand Slams. I’m well aware of the record books, unfortunately. It’s not a secret that I have my sights on 25”

Alexis’ birth was a dream come true for Serena but now the idea of 25 Grand Slam victories lies on the horizon. In the interview the 36-year-old details her birthing experience and opens up about her new vision for life.
