Make Up For Ever Is Calling All Beauty Fans to Show Support for LBGTQ+ Youth
Get involved in a good cause.
Makeup Forever has always believed in designing makeup that not only suits every skintone but also creates a safe place for every individual to explore makeup. This time, the beauty brand has partnered with Hetrick-Martin Institute — an organization that fosters community programs and support for LGBTQ+ youths — to launch a 39-shade collection of ”Artist Color Pencils.” The pencils glide on smoothly and can be used on eyes, lips, brows and cheeks. Additionally, they are highly pigmented so will last all day.
For an entire month, starting from May 16, the brand will donate up to $39,000 USD to the organization and wants Instagram to get involved too. To show your support to the cause, all you have to do is share a photo of a makeup look that expresses yourself, and include the hashtags #AcceptedAnywhere and #promotion. You can also tag @makeupforever and @HetrickMartin in your post. “As I’ve come into my own as a transgender woman, I’m now able to share my discoveries with those around me. This is what I love so much about this campaign,” Nicola said. “We are embracing all facets of identity and celebrating the journey it takes to discover yourself,” Makeup Forever employee Nicola Lawton told Teen Vogue.
To purchase the “Artist Color Pencils” head over to Sephora, retailing for $18 USD each. For more makeup news, check out Nars‘ new three-piece “Orgasm Collection.”
