I Refused to Use These Sailor Moon Makeup Products Because They're Too Pretty
“Fighting evil by moonlight. Winning love by daylight.”
So here’s my confession: I love makeup, but I probably have an even bigger obsession with the packaging it comes with. This is a bit of an issue because I often find myself not being able to start using certain beauty products, simply because I wish to preserve the way they look. Such was the case with my Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle lipstick and this Creer Beaute Sailor Moon range.
This is going to sound ridiculous, but it took me a solid two months before I decided to try out the products, because I wanted to review them for you, our readers. Great quality and beautiful packaging don’t always coexist, but this week’s “Editor’s Pick” proves that you can certainly enjoy both at the same time. Read on to find out why you should get your hands on this collection, especially if you’ve always been a Sailor Moon fan.

WHAT IS IT: Creer Beaute’s Sailor Moon “Miracle Romance” Makeup Collection
WHY IT’S WORTH THE HYPE: The pictures can speak for themselves. These are undoubtedly some of the most photogenic makeup products I own and they look even prettier in real life. Packaging aside, the quality of these items is actually pretty decent. The jewel-adorned Powder Flat Style compact is my favorite for sure. Coming with a handy puff, the mirrored case features a lightweight, translucent powder that gives your skin a natural-looking veil. I love that the compact includes a light, shimmery shade, which is ideal for brightening or highlighting your features, and can even be worn as an eyeshadow.
Liquid eyeliners aren’t really my thing, but I’ve picked it up nonetheless because of its adorable packaging (surprise, surprise). I’ve always heard good things about eyeliners made by Japanese beauty brands, and this particular one doesn’t disappoint either. With the super slim, 0.1mm felt tip, you’ll be able to draw thin and precise lines on your lids. The product is sweat and water-resistant as well, which makes it great for the summer.
Like many girls, I have more chapsticks than I need, so I thought I’d add another two to my growing collection. Both the Moon Stick Lip Cream and the Multi Carry Balm are surprisingly very moisturizing yet they don’t feel too greasy. The former can even add a subtle hint of rose pink to your lips.
WHERE YOU CAN FIND IT: Ranging from approximately $13-55 USD, these products can be purchased at select Japanese beauty stockists online.
