Nike Unveils Its "City Ready" Collection Campaign Featuring Sloane Stephens

All about functionality.

Earlier this year in May, Nike released its “24 x 24” pack which focused on performance-ready separates. Designed by Nike Women’s Senior Creative Director Maria Vu and an all-female design team is the “City Ready” collection. This time around, the global company serves up functional, adaptable pieces ideal for self-styling. The nine-piece range includes outerwear, tops, a bra, a pair of tights, bodysuit and special edition Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo XX.

Keeping in mind that versatility is key, the forthcoming drops can be worn from day to night. For the campaign, Nike selected world-renowned tennis player, Sloane Stephens and dancer Olivia Burgess. Standing out amongst the pack is the City Ready pant, a high-waist performance pant that comes with ultra-long zippers on the legs. Another noteworthy pick is the City Ready crop jacket, a lightweight and water repellent piece.

The Nike City Ready collection releases on September 6 in Europe and September 14 in the U.S. Pricing starts at $65 USD. Take a look at the campaign in the gallery above.
