Here's What Went Down at the adidas Originals Falcon Launch at Bread&&Butter

Nail art, piercings and an extra-special performance by MØ.

For those of you who don’t know, Bread&&Butter is the biggest brand-focused event of its kind; taking place in Berlin, the three-day extravaganza brings together huge brands and consumers for an immersive and exciting retail experience. This year, adidas Originals took to the festival to launch the Zalando-exclusive iteration of its women’s-only Falcon sneaker.

To celebrate the release, adidas Originals created a bespoke space dedicated to the Falcon and the key influences behind it; confidence, self-expression and of course, ’90s fashion. Alongside neon lights and holographic details, the space featured a pimped-out Falcon car and motorbike with a moving, cloud screen behind it – making for the perfect Instagram opp. Attendees were treated to a whole host of nostalgic goodies, like nail art, hair braiding and for the really adventurous, piercings.

adidas Originals also hosted a panel talk, where Danish artist , category director of Originals footwear Slavka Jancikova, HYPEBAE editor Nav Gill and moderator Wana Limar discussed self-belief, female empowerment creativity, and their personal ’90s style icons. To top it all off, MØ returned to the Falcon pop-up space for an energetic and intimate performance of some her most popular tracks.

You can shop the limited-edition adidas Originals Falcon and tracksuit exclusively at Zalando. In related news, have you seen Kylie Jenner in the newest Falcon campaign?
