Victoria's Secret Continues Inclusivity Initiative With Campaign Images of Transgender and Plus-Size Models
Seen at both online and offline stores.
Upon closing stores and its parent company L Brands Inc. announcing its new inclusivity initiative by hiring its first-ever transgender model Valentina Sampaio, Victoria’s Secret has unveiled campaign images focusing on diversity. The new collection – featuring items like see-through bras, pantsuits and bodysuits – pictured in the images is created in collaboration with British designer Emily Bendell.
In the latest campaign images which can be found both online and at stores – including the brand’s New York flagship on Fifth Avenue and London Bond Street store – transgender model May Simón Lifschitz and plus-size model Ali Tate Cutler are dressed in the lingerie label’s pieces, along with Olivia Sang and Laura Rakhman-Kidd. “It has been wonderful working with Emily and the entire Bluebella team on the campaign,” a Victoria’s Secret spokesperson told WWD. “We are excited to feature these amazing models in bringing this collaboration to life.”
