Kim Kardashian Recruits Her Clones in Her Latest Eyewear Campaign

In collaboration with Carolina Lemke.

UPDATE: After teasing the highly anticipated collaboration with Carolina Lemke, Kim Kardashian has finally revealed the campaign for the first release. For the campaign, Kardashian has recruited a handful of look-alike models to front the collection, all posing alongside Kim wearing the futuristic shades. Of course, all beauty for the shoot was done by her trusted makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic (@makeupbymario) and hair by her stylist, Chris Appleton.

The campaign sees a selection of eyewear in futuristic designs, sporting everything from over-sized mirrored lenses as well as rounded frames. Inspired by “iconic visuals of supermodels in the 80s” as well as “pre-CGI science-fiction,” the campaign lensed by Mert & Marcus depicts Kim with her “clones.”

Take a look at the full campaign in the gallery above, and shop the collaboration on March 19 when it releases online at the Carolina Lemke website.

Kim Kardashian has been rocking a handful of edgy sunglasses lately, and the star has finally revealed that she’ll be releasing an exclusive eyewear collaboration with Carolina Lemke. The capsule collection will celebrate the eyewear label’s launch in North America, and will feature more than one drop.

Carolina Lemke describes the collection as “strong and provocative, playful and sexy, fun but always fashionable,” adding that nobody “epitomizes these words like Kim Kardashian West.” Inspired by 1990s shapes, retro-futuristic aesthetics and statement pieces, Kardashian developed the collection to deliver a wide range of offerings for “all tastes, traits and faces.” Kim Kardashian also commented on the collection, saying, “Carolina Lemke really let me express myself. Together, we designed this collection from scratch. I wanted to create a complete range of sunglasses, from statement shields to simpler shapes, because I’ve always felt that fashion should be inclusive. It should be for everyone, and everyone should feel as if they’re part of the conversation.”

The first six silhouettes from the collection will release on April 3 online at www.carolinalemke.com, and will retail starting at $90 USD. Take a look at the teaser from the collection above, and stay tuned to cop the sunglasses.
