UPDATE (May 20, 2019): Glossier has just brought good news for beauty fans, announcing that its Seattle pop-up will be opening as soon as this Wednesday, May 22. The specially curated shopping experience will run until July 7.

Located in Capitol Hill, the temporary retail space features dreamy interiors inspired by the city’s natural landscape. A collaborative effort between Studio Lily Kwong and Glossier’s own in-house creative team, the pop-up is designed with industrial elements, juxtaposed with meadow-like hills and locally sourced flowers.

In addition to the brand’s skincare and makeup offering, customers will also be able to purchase a limited-edition Glossier water bottle ($15 USD) exclusively sold at the Seattle store. “For each water bottle sold, we’re donating $5 USD of the retail price to Mary’s Place, which provides safe, inclusive shelter and services that support women, children, and families on their journey out of homelessness,” Glossier writes in a press release.

With increasing concerns about sustainability among shoppers, Glossier has created reusable tote bags (in lieu of plastic bags) as well as “plantable” postcards that are embedded with wildflower seeds for its newest pop-up.

After launching its Art Deco-inspired pop-up store in Miami last month, Glossier announces today that it will soon be opening another temporary location in Seattle. In a short and sweet teaser shared on Instagram and Twitter, the Emily Weiss-helmed beauty brand writes: “Glossier Seattle! Coming later this Spring for a limited time.”

Details regarding the upcoming pop-up are still sparse at the moment, but based on the brand’s previous Chicago, San Francisco and London outposts, the interiors of the Seattle shop will probably be just as dreamy. If you live in Seattle and have been hoping to test out and feel Glossier’s makeup and skincare products in real life, stay tuned for further updates on the new store launch. Keep your eyes peeled for more from Glossier as it is slated to visit more cities in the rest of 2019 with temporary retail.

In March, reports suggested that Glosser Inc. is now valued at more than $1 billion USD after its latest funding round. An official press release states that the beauty startup has raised $100 million USD in Series D funding from investors led by Sequoia Capital.

According to Bloombergthe cult-loved brand’s revenue has surpassed $100 million USD as of December 2018.
