Eckhaus Latta x UGG Reveal Campaign for Their FW19 Collaboration
First debuted on the FW19 runway during NYFW.
Upon revealing a partnership with BAPE for a range of footwear and coats, UGG has unveiled the campaign for its collaboration with fashion label Eckhaus Latta. The pieces were first debuted on the designer’s Fall/Winter 2019 runway at New York Fashion Week earlier this year.
Taking inspiration from the Mono Lake in California, the campaign visuals lensed by Zoë Ghertner highlight the beauty and iconic history of the Mono County landscape. Collection pieces are seen juxtaposed against the raw and natural environment. Eckhaus Latta designers Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta stated in an official press release:
“We love the fact that UGG products embody an easygoing lifestyle and have crossed from being a more casual product to being iconic in a fashion sense. Being able to add to this foundation has been an exciting honor.”
The two creatives added their special touch to the iconic UGGs, creating a total of five footwear styles along with four outerwear items. Three of the shoes are women’s while the other two are unisex. The Court Mule, Court Mule Open Toe and Court Not Clog sport the brand’s world-renowned materials like suede and sheepskin. The Classic Short Boot and Block Slide are classic silhouettes that feature intricate whipstitch details. The collection also includes an overcoat and shawl coat which are made of Toscana sheepskin, as well as a jacket and shawl vest.
The Eckhaus Latta x UGG collaboration will launch on September 3 at UGG’s online store and select retailers including Nordstrom and SSENSE. Prices are set to range from $295 USD to $5,995 USD.
