Are Billie Eilish's Nike Air More Uptempos Mint Green or Pink?

The optical illusion has everyone confused.

In a way similar to the image of a dress that divided the Internet back in 2015, when social media users argued whether it was colored blue and black or white and gold, Billie Eilish has sparked a new version of an optical illusion debate with her pair of Nike Air More Uptempos.

In a Q&A session with her followers on Instagram Stories, the artist received a question on the infamous dress. Instead of choosing one side of the debate, the “bad guy” singer opted for blue and gold. From there, Eilish continued to share other optical illusions with her fans, including a pair of Nike shoes she has previously worn. She commented that her father thought the kicks were pink and white, when they were actually mint green. To Eilish’s surprise, many of her followers replied to the Stories saying they agree with Eilish’s dad. She proceeded to share product images from Google, revealing that the sneakers were indeed green and white.

Responding to the debate, a follower wrote: “Maybe clean the shoes then come back bae,” to which Eilish clarified that she hasn’t worn them in three years. “They don’t even make pink and white ones,” the artist continued, as she brought the shoes out from her closet to reveal more close-up angles. Fans have since been reacting to the discussion, with one commenting: “I love this series called ‘Billie Eilish and the color of her sneakers.’”

You can head over to Billie Eilish’s Instagram Stories to see it for yourself.
