Pepsi Unveils Thanksgiving-Themed Apple Pie Soda

Get your hands on the limited-edition beverage by entering the challenge via Twitter or TikTok.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, Pepsi has launched a limited-edition flavor to celebrate the upcoming holiday. Introducing the new Pepsi Apple Pie, the carbonated beverage is inspired by one of the U.S.’ most iconic desserts. Todd Kaplan, Vice President Marketing of Pepsi, said in a press release:

“Failing at baking – especially this year – is nothing to be ashamed of, and we’re celebrating those amateur bakers that are truly trying their best during a unique holiday season. With Pepsi Apple Pie, we’re providing a refreshingly delicious twist on the traditional slice of apple pie, while making sure people have some fun and don’t take themselves too seriously in the process.”

Evoking the feeling of nostalgia, the soda features notes of warm cinnamon and the crispness of a fresh apple. Additionally, the beverage is infused with the taste of a buttery crust – just like a homemade apple pie. The Pepsi Apple Pie will arrive in the brand’s redesigned PepsiCo 2L bottles, which you can take a closer look at in the gallery above.

For a chance to taste this drink, be sure to enter the #PepsiApplePieChallenge via Twitter or TikTok by submitting a photo or video of your unsuccessful baked goods, and follow Pepsi on the social platform of your choice. The first 1,500 users to enter will be eligible to win.
