PUMA UK Spotlights Young Female Creatives With "Women On The Rise" Campaign
Featuring a live podcast hosted by Note To Self.
PUMA UK has launched “Women On The Rise” for International Women’s Day 2020, a campaign that shines light on young females working in the creative industries, spanning a range of sectors such as sport, music, art, fashion and culture.
To kick-off the campaign, PUMA joined forces with Rinse FM on March 8 to host the very first Women On The Rise live podcast at the retailer’s Carnaby Street store. An all-female DJ set took the stage on the night, including names such as Liv Ravden, Sarah Harrison, Oh Annie Oh, Jordss, Lioness, Goldie Quaker and many others.
On the night, a range of female talent, young entrepreneurs and those budding for tips around how to build their own businesses filled the store to tune into the first PUMA WOTR (Women On The Rise) Podcast. Host and founder of Note To Self Alizé Demange was joined with founder of Tala, Shreddy and B_ND, Grace Beverly as well as founder of #TheReceiptsPodcast, Tolani “Tolly T’ Shoneye to discuss career journeys, the importance of International Women’s Day and being a female in the creative sector.
Note To Self – a self-development lifestyle brand and creative network dedicated to young women in the creative business – will host a bi-monthly PUMA WOTR Podcast series live at the Carnaby Street store, helping encourage young female entrepreneurs to grow and connect.
Moving forward, PUMA will develop other events, workshops and projects around WOTR to help inspire and support young female creatives in the UK. Stay tuned for more info around the campaign and other releases from the sportswear giant.
