Pyer Moss Encourages Americans to "Vote or Die...For Real” With Charitable T-Shirt

Marking the launch of the brand’s political platform, Exist to Resist.

Expanding the brand’s community-driven work, Pyer Moss has launched a political platform, Exist to Resist, that will support social justice organizations via charitable product drops.

For its first launch, the brand teamed up with Sean John to update P. Diddy’s 2004 “Vote or Die” T-shirt and encourage voter registration in the lead-up to November’s presidential election. The front of the white tee reads “Vote or Die / For Real This Time!” while the back is printed with abstract graphics and “THE PROMISE OF AMERICA” in red lettering. All proceeds from the shirt will be donated to Rock the Vote, a non-profit dedicated to engaging young people in politics.

“We are at a pivotal moment and the world is watching. Those on the front line who are challenging the ills that potentially plague our future represent the best of us,” Pyer Moss founder Kerby Jean-Raymond said in a statement. “Our roles as creatives are evolving to identify these voices, amplify their efforts and aid them where we can. Our collective existence is resistance,” he added, explaining the origins of Exist to Resist.

The Sean John by Pyer Moss “Vote or Die…For Real” T-shirt launches September 22 at 12 p.m. EST at the Pyer Moss website.
