A range that blends Korean and French influences together.

다다DADA多多, a South Korea-based creative collective that features the likes of Oh Hyuk and JICHOI, has joined forces with cult-loved French accessories label D’Heygere. Together, the duo has crafted a five-piece capsule of apparel and jewelry.

“A multicultural collection that makes your daily life a little bit easier and more beautiful,” the French designer explains the lineup in a press release. She further adds: “DADA is a collective that embodies different types of creative skills. But their approach aligns with ours; the pieces are unisex and multifunctional.” Oh Hyuk also shares his thoughts on the team-up: “I like the way D’Heygere reinterprets stereotypes through the lens of fun and creativity. DADA and D’Heygere share a similar sense of humor.”

The resulting range includes the Double Hoodie, which comes with two layers on the hood that customers can wear on rainy days. The Bottle Opener T-shirt is adorned with a removable stainless steel piece at the front, which comes in handy when you’re grabbing a drink. Elsewhere, the Mask Cap features hardware pieces that reduce the discomfort of wearing face masks. As for jewelry, the Rice Necklace is comprised of pearls shaped like small grains of rice, while the Fortune Ear Cuff takes inspiration from the Asian belief that jade brings good luck.

To accompany the release, creative director Eunuk Nam produced five short videos merging French and Korean dialogues together. The campaign aims to “present the slight and subtle cultural differences [Nam has] felt for a long time while working with non-Korean speakers.” 

See the full range of offerings in the gallery above. The collaboration will launch at 11 a.m. CET (5 a.m. EST) on January 30 via D’Heygere and 다다DADA多多‘s web stores. Global retailers like HBX will receive a later release on February 4.
