Mickey Mouse Takes Over Signature Levi's Pieces in Disney Collaboration
The OG character is accompanied by his friends Minnie Mouse and Goofy.
Following numerous lifestyle and fashion collaborations with brands like Casetify and UNIQLO, Disney has now teamed up with Levi’s to rework the American label’s signature denim pieces. The collection spotlights Mickey Mouse and his friends, including Goofy and Minnie.
“We found this amazing graphic from the ’30s with Mickey and Minnie on the phone, and we just felt like that image said it all. We instantly knew that we wanted to do a collection built around the idea of staying connected,” Chief Product Officer of Levi’s, Karyn Hillman, comments in a press release. As explained, a consistent theme of “Stay Connected” is seen throughout, with the text printed alongside vibrant graphics.
Timeless styles, including jackets and jeans, are revamped with the three characters. In addition to staple graphic tees, the range features a padded reversible trucker for men and a reversible down vest for women. Elsewhere, quilted stitching details take over an outerwear design with a faded image of Mickey and Minnie for that vintage-inspired look. The 502 men’s trousers receive the same makeover with a blown-up image of the cartoon on the leg. Rounding out the collection are accessories such as a graphic tote bag and a bucket hat.
