Sydney Sweeney Channels Anna Nicole Smith in GUESS Originals' New Campaign

For a collection dedicated to the late model.

In honor of Anna Nicole Smith, one of the fashion industry’s most iconic figures, GUESS Originals is set to release a collection dedicated to the late model.

Teaming up with LA-based multidisciplinary artist Cali Thornhill Dewitt — who also helped create the 2018 “Did You Miss Me?” Anna Nicole Smith x GUESS Originals capsule – the 32-piece  men’s and women’s range comes with an array of vibrant, graphic apparel and accessories. Accompanying the collection is a campaign starring Euphoria and White Lotus actor Sydney Sweeney. Recreating Smith’s original shoot from 1992, the 2021 version was shot by Kenneth Cappello in Malibu, with creative direction by GUESS’ brand partnerships director, Nicolai Marciano.

“Anna Nicole Smith is essential to ’90s fashion,” Marciano speaks on the campaign. “Anna’s legendary beach shoot revived for this collection and the campaign with Sydney Sweeney is the perfect timeless moment to continue to celebrate one of the most iconic GUESS Girls with a new generation.”

Teal dominates the collection, while classic shades of black, white and red can be found on select silhouettes. Each style features a digitized version of Smith’s signature, as well as Dewitt’s iconic phrase, “Did You Miss Me?” The women’s offerings include tees, mesh shirts, bodysuits, sweaters, sweatpants, crewnecks, jumpsuits, a matching gingham jacket and pant, as well as a teal denim jacket and pant. Meanwhile, the men’s line is comprised of long and short-sleeve tees, sweatshirts, crewnecks, hoodies, and a black denim jacket and matching pant. Rounding off the line are the hats, totes, socks and sunglasses.

The Anna Nicole Smith x GUESS Originals collection by Cali Thornhill Dewitt ranges from $12 to $248 USD, which will be available on October 7 at GUESS stores, global GUESS Originals pop-ups, GUESS Originals’ website and Urban Outfitters.
